We are deeply saddened by the passing of freedom fighter and veteran actor Mujibur Rahman Dilu.
Dilu was a television and stage actor, director, theatre activist and a playwright. He is most known for his acting in the television drama serial Songsoptok. His notable plays include “Tathapi” and “Somoy Asomoy”, among others.
In 1976, Dilu directed and acted in the play ‘Kingsuk Je Morute’. It was selected in the first Drama festival of Bangladesh. He owns the theater troupe Dhaka Drama.
Dilu passed away on Tuesday, 1 January 2021, at the age of 68.
