Bengal Foundation organized a workshop on Contemporary works of Bengali Artists in 1999 which successfully brought together leading artists from West Bengal, India, and Bangladesh. The three-day workshop, featuring 52 leading artists of the two Bengals, was participated by Shafiuddin Ahmed, Mohammad Kibria, Aminul Islam, Quyyum Chowdhury, Jogen Chowdhury, Bijan Chowdhury, Sunil Das and Paritosh Sen among others. The interactive moments of the workshop have been recorded in a video documentary produced by Bengal Foundation. The documentary also features some rare shots of the late professor Abdur Razzak and the late poet Shamsur Rahman. Telecast in Channel 1.
