In August 2004, the Embassy of France in Dhaka, coordinated 3 prominent galleries in Dhaka, the Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts, Shilpangan, and La Gallerie, to concurrently host two solos and one group Print exhibition featuring the works of notable French artists. The film, A French April in Dhaka, focuses on the solo art exhibitions of the contemporary French painter Jean Dometti and printmaker Jean Pierre Tango. It also covers a group exhibition comprising the works of great master such as Picasso, Matisse, Miro, Brac, Dado etc., all of which were produced in the print shop of Le Courrier.
