Artist Gulshan Hossain has received the prestigious ‘Bengal Foundation award’ at the 20th National Art Exhibition, organised by the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. The prize carried a cash award of BDT 100,000. Gulshan’s work was displayed at a month-long exhibition beginning on 21 June at the Shilpakala Academy Gallery. The Bengal Foundation has bestowed this award to a number of deserving artists since 1988.
