Aranya opened a new retail outlet in Dhanmondi, in House 33, Road 27. They offer a wide range of naturally dyed fabrics, apparel and handicrafts. Aranya was established in 1990 as a fair trade micro-enterprise with a small-scale production centre and showroom. It set out to prove the commercial viability of naturally dyed products and in the years since its inception it has achieved just that. Today, Aranya operates under the Bengal Foundation and has expanded its production and promotional activities. Ruby Ghuznavi the founder and Executive Chariman of Aranya continues to be a guiding hand with the organisation.
