Distinguished art writer and critic Mr. Moinuddin Khaled and Professor Shishir Bhattacharjee (Dean of the Faculty of Design and Technology, Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology) will jointly inaugurate the exhibition. Professor A K M Maynul Islam (Department of Ceramics and Sculpture, University of Rajshahi) and artist Ms. Soma Surovi Jannat will speak on the occasion.

‘Unbroken Line’ brings together drawing works spanning over seven decades of visual art, tracing the evolution of line, medium, and philosophical intent from the founding masters to today’s younger practitioners. Featuring work by more than 40 artists, the show highlights how drawing in Bangladesh transformed from a fundamental tool of academic training and socio-political documentation into an autonomous, expansive medium of contemporary conceptual expression.
By juxtaposing mid-20th-century trailblazers with mid-career innovators and emerging contemporary voices, alongside representative works from key regional art institutions across Bangladesh, the exhibition offers an unprecedented comparative survey of how the line has recorded, critiqued, and reimagined the nation’s landscape and human condition.

দলীয় রেখাচিত্র প্রদর্শনী ’অপ্রমেয় রেখা’ বা আনব্রোকেন লাইন -এ পথিকৃৎ জয়নুল-কামরুল-সফিউদ্দীনসহ পরবর্তী সাত দশকের বিয়াল্লিশজন শিল্পীর আঁকা রেখাচিত্রের উল্লেখযোগ্য সংকলন উপস্থাপন করা হয়েছে। প্রতিনিধিত্বমূলক এই প্রদর্শনীতে ঢাকার ও ঢাকার বাইরের শিল্পীদের কিছু নিরীক্ষাপ্রবণ রেখাচিত্রও স্থান পেয়েছে। বাংলাদেশে ড্রইং কীভাবে প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক শিক্ষণমাধ্যমে থেকে প্রসারিত হয়ে সামাজিক-রাজনৈতিক দলিলিকরণের গণ্ডি পেরিয়ে স্বাধীনভাবে সমকালের স্পন্দনে ও বহুস্তরীয় সম্ভাবনায় প্রকাশিত হয়েছে, তার একটি তুলনামূলক চিত্র উপস্থাপনের প্রয়াস এই প্রদর্শনী।
