To mark the 40th anniversary of the independence of Bangladesh, and the sesquicentenary of Rabindranath Tagore, Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts hosted a four day painting exhibition titled Song of Our Motherland by 12 distinguished artists of Bangladesh.
The exhibition opened on Monday, 19 December 2011 at 7 pm. Mr. Abul Maal Abdul Muhith Honourable Minister, Ministry of Finance, Govt. of Bangladesh had kindly consented to be the Chief Guest on the occasion.
The exhibition was organised in collaboration with British American Tobacco Bangladesh.
The inaugural ceremony will be followed by dinner.
