Shilpita Darshan

Shilpita Darshan offered a collection of paintings by artists who were most expressive in the sixties. The practice of fine art in the country experienced a notable momentum in the fifties and sixties that resulted from a dichotomy of the figurative and the non-figurative styles. The artists of Shilpita Darshan had devised ways of rejecting or accepting, some or all the terms of the dichotomy, through a unique innovativeness.
