To celebrate its 10th anniversary the Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts had drawn up a year-long programme that included a series of 10 group shows. The sixth exhibition of this series titled Rooted Creativity-6 featured works by 10 leading artists. Mr. Mijarul Quayes, Foreign Secretary and art critic, inaugurated the exhibition on Friday, 29 October 2010. Eminent artist Hashem Khan was present as the Chief Guest and Muhammad Mamdudur Rashid, Deputy Managing Director of BRAC Bank Limited was the Guest of Honour at the inaugural function.

Inaugural ceremony : Friday, 6 pm, 29 October 2010 Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts 275/F Dhanmondi, Road 16 (New) Sheikh Kamal Sarani, Dhaka 1209 The exhibition will remain open until 09 November 2010, daily from 12 – 8 pm
