Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts hosted a week-long painting exhibition of artist Abdus Sabur (1936-2008) titled ‘Quest’, on 31 January 2012, Tuesday, at 5.30 p.m. at Bengal Shilpalaya. The exhibition was inaugurated by eminent novelist and playwright Syed Shamsul Haque. Eminent actress and Member of Parliament Sarah Kabari was present as the Chief Guest at the inaugural ceremony. Eminent artist Syed Jahangir and Mr. M. Hamid, Managing Director, Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC), were present as Special Guests.
