9th March would have been the 83^rd birthday of the late artist and graphic designer, Qayyum Chowdhury. Celebrating his memory, Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts and Kali O Kalam, a monthly magazine of arts and letters, has jointly arranged an exhibition of original illustrations commissioned by the monthly magazine.

Professor Emeritus Anisuzzaman and artists Rafiqun Nabi and Samarjit Roy Chowdhury jointly inaugurated the exhibition on the 9^th of March, 2015, at 6 pm. Abul Hasnat, Editor of Kali O Kalam, and the late artist’s son, Moinul Islam Zaber also spoke on the occasion.

The exhibition is open to all and will continue from March 9 – April 4, 2015.
