The exhibition featured a series of lyrical photographs shot in the Mediterranean island of Cyprus, by noted writer and former civil servant, Hasnat Abdul Hye. Hye (b. 1939, Kolkata) exerted his keen sense of observation and an expert eye for detail to bring to life memorable images of the sun-drenched landscape. An acclaimed writer and commentator, Hye received the Bangla Academy Award for Short Story in 1978 and the Ekushey Padak in 1995.
