The show offered a rare glimpse into the bird’s world. A nature enthusiast, Shehab Uddin made painstaking photographic records of numerous birds in their natural habitat. Shehab (b. 1972, Khulna) graduated in photojournalism from Pathshala South Asian Media Academy, Dhaka. His images have been published in many international publications such as CPN, Time Journal of Photography, The Politiken, USA Today, CBS news, Time Online, The Guardian, Times daily, New Internationalist, Der Spiegel and Nepali Times. His awards include All Roads (Honourable Mention) National Geographic, WHO, Asahi Shimbun & IIPC, FIAP, HPA. In 2011 he won a Magnum Foundation grant and also the Alexia Foundation Grant for his project ‘Amarao Manush: Pavement Dwellers’. Shehab joined Drik in 2005. His works has been exhibited globally and are available in online galleries.
