Giorgio Guglielmino, Ambassador of Italy, cordially invited the public to the opening of an exhibition of works by Chittagong artists, titled ‘From the Karnaphuli’, on Friday 27th January 2011, at 6 pm, at House NW (7), Road 54, Gulshan 2, Dhaka 1212.
The exhibition was hosted by the Italian Embassy in Dhaka, and had been organized by Santaran Art Organisation, in collaboration with Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts.
The honourable finance minister of the government of Bangladesh Mr. AMA Muhith had kindly consented to be present on the occasion and inaugurate the exhibition. The show remained open on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th January 2012, from 2 pm to 8 pm.
