From the Ashes
The exhibition witnessed Arham’s brilliant artistry on metal scraps obtained from the Centre for Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP) workshop. He made something ‘beautiful from nothing’. The initiative was launched to help engage physically challenged individuals with art. The sale proceeds from the exhibition was donated to the CRP.
An anthropologist and social activist, Arham’s interests range from painting to horticulture. Arham (b. 1975) is pursuing a Ph. D in anthropology at Dhaka University. A noted designer and calligraphy artist, he has attended several workshops on furniture and fashion design, and has worked extensively to develop the Bengali font.
