Contemporary Bangladesh : Art from a Vibrant Culture
Art exhibition on contemporary from Bangladesh was held at the Headquarters of the European Commission in Brussels from 3 to 10 April 2008. Modern art in Bangladesh is in step with the global trend while still drawing from our millennia old creative traditions. The vibrancy of this collection of 61 paintings from 31 renowned artists provides an excellent metaphor for the rich and varied relations which Bangladesh and the European Union enjoy. There is great scope to enhance cultural exchanges, which undoubtedly promote understanding and warmth in international relations.
