This event was for the launch of the second issue of the new series of Six Seasons Review, an English-language literary periodical published in Bangladesh by Bengal Foundation.

To commemorate the launch an event was held at the Bengal Art Lounge on Friday, June 27 2014, at 5 PM , featured readings from poets and writers whose works will appear in the issue.

The readings were by Ms. Seema Amin, an activist, teacher and a writer, Ms. Samia Ahmed, studied Economics from the University of Dhaka and Professor Kaiser Haque, a poet, essayist, translator and also a professor of English at the University of Dhaka and the Univesity of Liberal Arts in Bangladesh. Mr. Fakrul Alam, Professor, Dhaka University, read for Ms. Nuzhat Amin Mannan and Ms. Luva Nahid Choudhury, Director General, Bengal Foundation, discussed the artwork by S.M. Sultan and Shishir Bhattacharjee, reproduced in this issue.
