Praner Khela is a regular monthly musical soiree featuring a selected duo. The programme was first held in December 2007 and has since then, brought many talented performers and their music closer to the audience. The event usually pairs artists of comparable repute singing in different genres, or a younger artist with an established name in the music industry. The platform is also used to showcase emerging singers, especially Bengal Bikash talents. The vintage ‘Baithaki’ style of the arrangement warrants an instinctive rapport between the performer and the listener. As with all other events, Praner Khela is free for the public. Since November 2008, Eastern Bank Ltd. Has generously supported this endeavour.

The event was held at Bengal Shilpalaya on 12 February, 2010, featuring Sumon Chowdhury, Shuma Rani Roy and Nilufar Jahan.
