Bengal Foundation announced an Open Call to artists for the third edition of ONLY CONNECT; a biannual, collaborative exhibition programme. We invited Expressions of Interest from artists, who were under 35 years of age, and lived and worked in Bangladesh, to participate in an exhibition in a group of 3 to 6 artists at the Daily Star-Bengal Arts Precinct in Dhaka in September/October 2015.

Application Deadline: 31 July, 2015
The conditions of eligibility and submission details are noted below:

Eligibility:
◦ Artists who are under 35 years of age (artists who have trained within the last 5 years are encouraged to apply);
◦ Artists who live and work in Bangladesh;
◦ Only work that has not previously been shown in Dhaka, Bangladesh can be considered for the exhibition.

About ONLY CONNECT.EDITIONS
Initiated by Bengal Foundation in July 2014, ONLY CONNECT is a biannual, collaborative, group exhibition programme that takes place in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The programme is open to artists who are under 35 years of age and who continue to live and work in Bangladesh.

The programme aspires to create an arena for the exploration of experimentation and the indefinite in the arts. It is structured as a period of conversations and discussions around the works of the selected artists, which is followed by a collaborative exhibition design process. The exhibition itself is expanded upon with ‘gallery days’ with the artists, public presentations and discussions.
