Bengal Institute for Architecture, Landscapes and Settlements organised a lecture about Landscape Architecture by Professor Carey Clouse, entitled ‘Lowlands/ Highlands: Strategies for Landscape Architecture’

Carey Clouse is a Professor of Architecture and Landscape Architecture at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in the USA. Clouse received her degree from MIT and is the recipient of the Rose Architectural Fellowship. Prior to UMass Amherst, Clouse has taught at Tulane University; her courses address the overlap between social justice, environmental stewardship, and urbanism. Her recent book, Farming Cuba: Urban Agriculture from the Ground Up, has received wide acclaim for documenting Cuba’s experiments in urban agriculture.
