To pay tribute to the memories of artist Safiuddin Ahmed, a remembrance programme was organised by Bengal Foundation. Among others, veteran artist Qayyum Chowdhury, Syed Jahangir, Professor Syed Azizul Haque and Professor Moinuddin Khaled was present as the discussants at the programme.
