Bengal Foundation hosted a solo poetry recital by Iqbal Bahar Chowdhury on Wednesday, 6 May 2015.

Iqbal Bahar Chowdhury is a renowned broadcaster and cultural personality, best known as the former chief of Voice of America Bangla. He recited poetry by Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam on the occasion, and the collection of poems were released in an album titled Praaner Joybarta (প্রাণেরজয়বার্তা) at a later date.

Professor emeritus Anisuzzaman was present at the event as the Chief Guest.
