Bengal Foundation has recently partnered with Skira Editore, an 84 year old prestigious publishing house of fine art based in Milan, to publish volumes on fine arts to showcase internationally the brilliant artists of bangladesh in two distinctive series, the “Great Masters” and the ‘Contemporary Masters’. Till date 4 books have been published and 3 are readily available for sale in local and international markets and all 4 online. These books (in order of their print dates) re shahidul Alam: My Journey as a Witness; Safiuddin Ahmed: Great Masters of Bangladesh; Kazi Ghiyasuddin: Contemporary Masters of Bangladesh and Zainul Abedin: Great Masters of Bangladesh. Also to be publish in November 2013 is Rafiq Azam: Architecture for Green Living.
