The Indira Gandhi Culture Centre in Dhaka and Bengal Foundation jointly organised an evening of Rabindra Sangeet by Mrs. Jayati Chakraborty from India on Friday, 2 November 2012, at 7 PM at the Main Auditorium of the Bangladesh National Museum in Dhaka. The Hon’ble Minister for Information of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, H.E. Mr. Hasanul Haque Inu, MP, had kindly consented to inaugurate and be the Chief Guest for the programme. The Hon’ble High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh, H.E. Mr. Pankaj Saran graced the occasion as the Special Guest.

Another event was also held on Sunday, 4 November 2012, at 7 PM at Shahjadpur Rabindra-Kacharibari auditorium, Sirajganj. Mr. Chayan Islam, MP, had kindly consented to inaugurate and be the Chief Guest for the programme.
