Dhaka, Sept 8 (UNB) – A delegation of Bengal Foundation on Sunday met President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban and apprised… him about its activities. During the meeting, the delegation informed the President that the foundation has recently completed a publication on Shilpachariya Zainul Abedin. The delegation members invited the President to attend the book launching ceremony as the chief guest.   The President accepted the invitation and said the programme will be held at a convenient time. The delegation apprised the President about various activities of the foundation.   The members of the delegation are Jahanara Abedin, wife of Shilpachariya Zainul Abedin, Professor Emeritus and Bangla Academy President Anisuzzaman, artist Qayyum Chowdhury, President of Asiatic Society Professor Nazrul Islam and Bengal Foundation Chairman Subir Chowdhury. Secretaries to the President Office were present.
