Bengal Foundation has partnered with Skira Editore in Milan, Italy, one of the oldest and most prestigious publishing houses in the world of fine art books to bring out a special series showcasing Bangladesh’s contribution to art history and the international art scene. The series will represent a complete selection of contemporary creativity in this country, much of which is a part of Bengal Foundation’s permanent collection.

We are proud to launch the second title, which is also the first of the Contemporary Masters series, Contemporary Masters of Bangladesh:
Kazi Ghiyasuddin with a collection of his works, on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 5 pm at Bengal Shilpalaya. You are cordially invited.

Mr. Kazi Rakib Uddin, Chief Election Commissioner of Bangladesh Election Commission, has graciously consented to be the Chief Guest on the occasion and launch the book. Writer and cultural activist Mofidul Haq will be present as the Special Guest.
