Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts was one of five galleries to win the “Top Influential Galleries of 2012” award at the Beijing International Art Festival. The award was given by the Chinese Ministry of Culture. Subir Choudhury, Director of BGFA received the award at Beijing. The gallery showed the works of Qayyum Choudhury, Rafiqun Nabi, Kanak Chanpa Chakma, Maqsuda Iqbal Nipa and Bishwajit Goswami at the festival.
