Samaman Sahajan
Samaman Sahajan was an instance of collaboration between two art galleries. The aim of the show was to connect the Dhaka-centric mainstream art to other parts of the country. The exhibition, held in Charupith gallery, Jessore, included the works of master painters such as Zainul Abedin, Quamrul Hassan and S M Sultan, as well as other noted contemporary artists such as Abdur Razzaque, Abdus Satter, Abdus Shakoor, Abul Barq Alvi, Aminul Islam, Atia Islam Anne, Baby Sultana, Bimanesh Biswas, Bulbon Osman, Chaitanya Kumar Mallik, Dhiman K Biswas, Hamiduzzaman Khan, Hashem Khan, Ivy Zaman, Lalarukh Selim, Mahbub Jamal Shamim, Mahmudul Haque, Mohammad Kibria, Mokhlesur Rahman, Monirul Islam, Md Moniruzzaman, Mustafa Monwar, Nasima Haq Mitu, Nazrul Islam Aghrani, Nisar Hossain, Novera Ahmed, Qayyum Chowdhury, Rafiqun Nabi, Raziuddin Chowdhury, Rashid Amin, Rokeya Sultana, Samarjit Roy Chowdhury, Sheikh Afzal, Sheikh Sadi Bhuiyan, Shishir Bhattacharjee, Syed Hassan Mahmud, Tarun Ghosh and Taufiqur Rahman.
