The exhibition of photographs by Enamul Karim Nirjhar (b. 1964) was organised to raise funds for Shuchi, a schoolgirl stricken with cancer. An architect and a noted filmmaker, Nirjhar’s photographs attempted to convey the overwhelming priority of life over everything else. His work is testimony to his fine ability to tease life from various shades of light and half-light.
