Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts hosted ‘Unlimited’, a twelve-day solo painting exhibition of noted artist Maruf Ahmed, with the inaugural ceremony on 17 January 2012, Tuesday, at 5.30 pm at Bengal Shilpalaya. Maruf Ahmed lives and works in Germany. Mr. Mijarul Quayes, noted art critic and Foreign Secretary of the Govt. of Bangladesh, inaugurated the exhibition. Eminent historian Prof. Dr. Muntasir Mamun, was present as the Chief Guest. H. E. Mr. Giorgio Guglielmino, Ambassador of the Italy in Bangladesh, and Mr. Mosud Mannan, Ambassador of Bangladesh in Federal Republic of Germany were present as Special Guests. Ms. Judith Mirschberger, Director, Goethe-Institut Dhaka, was present as the Guest of Honour.
