Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts hosted a ten-day solo painting exhibition of artist Firoz Mahmud, titled ‘Dismal Cry of Heritage’ with the inaugural ceremony on 13 November 2011, Sunday, at 5.30 pm at Bengal Shilpalaya.
Mr. Mijarul Quayes, noted art critic and Foreign Secretary of the Govt. of Bangladesh, was present as the Chief Guest and inaugurated the exhibition. HE Mr. Svend Olling, Ambassador of Royal Danish Embassy in Dhaka, and eminent artist Mahmudul Haque were present as Special Guests.
