Scholastica and Bengal Foundation had jointly organised a three-day long exhibition featuring works of the three great masters of the first generation of modernists in Bangladeshi painting.

The famous troika of Bangladesh art Zainul Abedin (1914-1976), Quamrul Hassan (1921-1988) and S M Sultan
(1923-1994) have laid the foundation of modernism in our art. Held in Scholastica school, the exhibition featuring
works by legends of Bangladesh art, was aimed at introducing school children to original works of art and sensitizing
them to the country’s rich tradition of modern painting. The works were drawn from the Abul Khair Collection.
