Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts hosted a ten-day solo photography exhibition of acclaimed photographer GMB Akash, under the title, ‘Soulscapes’ wtih the inaugural ceremony on 1 June 2010, Tuesday, at 6 pm. H. E. Dr. Urs Herren, Ambassador of Switzerland to Bangladesh, was present as the Chief Guest and inaugurated the exhibition. Renowned writer Hasnat Abdul Hye was present as the Special Guest.

Having won last year’s Travel Photographer of the Year award, further cementing his reputation as one of the most passionate and insightful photojournalists at work today, G M B Akash’s quest to wrest with world’s ills is gathering pace.
