Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts hosted a twelve-day solo exhibition of the works of renowned artist Monsur Ul Karim titled, ‘Saga of the Padma’ with the inaugural ceremony on 20 March 2009, Friday, at 6 p.m. at Bengal Shilpalaya. Mr. Nurul Islam Nahid, Honourable Minister, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Govt. of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, was present as the Chief Guest and inaugurated the exhibition. Eminent artist Qayyum Chowdhury was present as the special guest.
