Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin (1914-76) is known as the architect of the modern art movement in Bangladesh. As part of a yearlong programme to celebrate his birth centenary, Bengal Foundation has organized a special 12 day exhibition of artworks by the maestro and other members of his family, titled Shilpacharya and his Outer World of Art from 28 December 2013.

Professor Emeritus Dr. Anisuzzaman will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest and inaugurate the exhibition on 28 December, Saturday at 5.30 pm. Begum Jahanara Abedin, artists Mustafa Monwar and Mizanur Rahim will be present as Special Guests.

You are cordially invited to the inaugural ceremony and the exhibition.
